Sep. 26th, 2020 01:14 amToday I mostly just slept in
but I also went looking for miniatures for Pathfinder.
Found some that look pretty good, and remembered I couldnt paint them because fiddly.
But they're all so skinny.
Scaled down humans would not look like that.
If I wanted a wider wizard out of what I found today I'd have to start with
https://www.reapermini.com/miniatures/nun/latest/50159 Sister Maria
and swap out the gun.
... there seem to be a whole set of battle nuns and they pretty neat. Have clothes on. Not a given in the genre.
Sister Maria with a wizard staff (with the knob on the end) seems like a good start.
Of course I dont need it
and I do rather like the little cardboard cutout pawns I've got
and that means if I get some card and some pictures I can make as many models as I want
but miniatures look fun.
I shall not get started on another collecting hobby though, no shelf space as it is.
