Today some plates and bowls I ordered arrived
in a BIIIIIIIG box.

They are only half unwrapped
because I have to figure out where to put the packaging
from the BIIIIIIIG box
where every plate has been wrapped
in tissue paper
then bubble wrap
then MORE bubble wrap
just to be sure.

I have ordered furniture that arrived in smaller boxes than these 12 bits of china.

I am thinking of sending the shop a polite thank you note
because clearly
they took the delivery wrapping *seriously*.

(they are so blue, and so shiny)
