Paladin's Grace, T Kingfisher

Today I read Paladin's Grace, start to finish I think.
It was much more of a kissing book than I was really in the mood for. And yet as a kissing book it had frustrating intrusions from fighty or detective plot. Which to my mind could have been resolved more thoroughly outside of summary, but that kind of balanced clues paid off pacing was for the kissing plot.
Basically if I start again knowing what kind of book it is in advance I'll probably like it better.
It did have all the relevant keywords on the back but I didn't know the parameters so it was never quite what I expected.

I like the writing and the characters though. And the religious setup. Compelling.

It did keep reminding me of Hulk fanfic and leaving me uncomfortable for the same reasons of never being quite sure what this author thinks are the good bits. It was okay by the end though.

I think I shall buy more Kingfisher books, but I don't feel the need to pick up another straight away.
