I finished watching Misfits.
I'm kind of disappointed to hear that there's going to be a second season, because that ending, as an ending, was perfect.
The whole 'I'm immortal! ... You buried me alive! ... *listens to ipod*'
I mean that is classic.
Cause his only superpower is the not dying thing, so there's no punching his way out of his grave or anything. And nobody else knows, so no friendly passing Immortal will sense him down there. Although obviously Kelly could hear his thoughts if she got close enough. Unless there's meant to be a line of sight limitation on that. But anyway, he's immortal, he's crowing, he's... buried. With music. Until the battery runs out.
Classic.

To do another season they'll move things away from that ending, and then it's just a pause instead, and it gets much less amusing.

I think it's fairly obvious that the second season will start with Kelly hearing his thoughts down there and rescuing him.

well yes
but the bit that made it interesting was when they did not in fact rescue him
so they'll be undoing the good bit.

COMPLETELY agree with you. That was a classic, perfect, untouchable ending. So, so funny! XD To follow on would take away from it.
