Dancing (half) achieved
Jan. 20th, 2011 10:07 pmI went to the Bollywood Sparkles dance lessons in Norwich with my employee.
We sat at the back to see what it was like.
I did sitting down dancing. It is Not Simples. But it's quite a lot like con dancing with the standing in lines trying to all do the same thing at once, and there's no flashing lights, drunk people, or people who can't tell left from right, plus someone is actively trying to tell you how to do things, so you're well ahead.
We are going back next week. My employee has opted out of dancing but will do the driving there and back parts and moral support.
I must remember to wear my dancing shoes that I forgot to pack today. Also to not wear my waistcoat that I forgot to unpack into the handbag, even though I remembered the handbag.
I like the twirly hands and the way it looks really complicated by the end of the hour.
possible minus sides: teacher doesn't speak whatever languages were in the songs so doesn't know what they're on about. are they calling us names in Hindi? We'd never know.
plus side: sparkly t-shirts.
... I'm easily pleased...
after that we went to Tesco cause I forgot to order my foods this week. Now I have sandwich makings. And more sleepy than appetite.
1815 to 2200 ish outing for 1900 to 2000 class.
Even leaving out Tesco is quite a lot of going compared to not much lesson.
*shrugs*
