I always budget extra time for things going awkwardly-to-horribly wrong, so it was as expected that, having caught the bus in at 10, I only get home by 5.

I caught the bus by waving at it as it zoomed past :-) I wasn't quite at the bus stop but the bus driver is a very nice man. If I missed it I would have had to wait half an hour. It's always frustrating when it glides past.

I got to college and everything printed out. It's still rubbish but there's nothing to be done about it at this stage. I'd need a new brain to make it any better, so, all done. But I needed one piece of paper with a signature. I'd got in a muddle about if I actually needed it or not, and twice forgot to actually go in to college to get it when I'd writ on my hand to go and get it, and it was a whole Thing. And as it turns out Fridays is meetings day for the one and only person who can sign this bit of paper, so they weren't there, and nobody knew when they would be back. So I waited a bunch of time. Maybe an hour. I don't know. Waiting is less fun once I get twitchy about it. But then the person arrived, and they say they reckon I don't need this bit of paper, but my teacher thinks I should have it, so, here, have the signed thing. I'm still confused about what all is the right way. I said the rules keep changing, and she said the rules don't change, and I'm like, what school do you work at, cause I been here long long long now and many things keep changing. Possibly nothing they consider significant changes. Changing rooms you hand things in in isn't significant to most people. Also it's possibly I've just been doing it wrong for years. That's always possible. I don't know. So, anyway, I will get a list of what all needs done next time I need to hand things in with an extension, and then if someone says something, I can go LIST and point at the list. Apparently I always get the extra two weeks, it's writ in my folder same like I always get a computer to do exams on, and because I always get it one person thinks I need no new paperwork and the other thinks I do and *big shrug*. ANYWAY! The paper was there, was signed, went in the plastic thingy, and everything got handed in. Two subjects, two CDs, two checklists, two cover sheets, and two bibliographies, with two essays.

All Done!

My library books are returned, to three different libraries in one day, City College, UEA, and the Forum. the UEA and Forum books kept setting off the alarms at City College. I am lucky librarians have a sense of humour. I did know they would do that, I did get them put through the device that should make them not do that, but, it was the day for them to do that.

I went and bought more Doctor Who (Autons!) You know at some point there will run out of being more Doctor Who to buy. That will be very very weird. ... I listened to two Big Finish audio adventures today, is maybe a long time before running out. Though I do have all the olds and now have to wait for news.

I went and had vegan pizza for lunch :-)
It cost £10 for pizza and blackcurrant, and the pizza didn't look quite like it did on Monday. There was green leafy stuff all over the plate when I first got it. I can see why many people would like green leafy stuff. But it was unfamiliar green leafy stuff and I wanted a celebrate pizza not a mystery. But I decided it was pizza and a puzzle, cause I could pick all the leafs off. Then it tasted different. I don't know. I maybe won't make it a regular place if it's always going to be slightly surprising pizza. Or I could, and consider it an exercise in getting over my issues. ... when I want eats, I not wanting to get over my issues.

College, Doctor Who, Forum, pizza, UEA, back in on the bus because it was an hour to the next bus from UEA to Dereham and I can't use the UEA library and I was when I got on the bus quite annoyed enough to go right back to city college and get that fixed... I couldn't use the library because UEA thinks my degree has finished. My degree still has two years to go, and my UEA library card has printed on it that it works until 2012, but no, UEA computers think my degree is finished. Apparently they emailed me about this. The guy says they sent it to the UEA email account. I only learned I had a UEA email account... I don't even know, nobody uses that thing, not that I've found since I discovered it existed. I tried to get in it when my UEA login wouldn't work on the library to renew my books, but my login wouldn't work on my email neither. So, they emailed an account I can't access to tell me I can't access my account. Something about that process sounds a bit off. But if they emailed one of my other accounts I think it must have ended in the spam can. I can't find such a thing. So my books was late and I couldn't renew them and I couldn't get the library gates to open to let me in to give them the books back! Though the nice library desk lady let me in, it wasn't tragic, I only got £3.20 fine and honestly I deserve that I had those books like forever. But I felt like UEA had kicked me out and grumped all the way back to town. Then we were stuck in traffic and I had time to decide I'd had quite a long enough day and the UEA card wasn't about to get urgent so I would email from home. If I need to physically turn up at college again they can wait until the 28th when I go to get my results for the semester.

So I came home on the bus and went through the supermarket and picked up quorn pepper steaks because they're still only doing BBQ quorn elsewise and I don't have a BBQ.

I had quite a long day. Is no wonder I have a bit of a grump. But I have fizzy drinks and fiction books and DVDs and
