could someone invent a button to order dreams? not every night. ... no, wait, 'order' is the word, too much order makes the balance sad, we shall keep having chaos dreams.
I spent the night combining missed-the-train dreams with inaccessibility and disability dreams. So we were waiting for the last train and it stopped at the station for like thirty seconds and then pulled out while everyone was banging on the door open button, or I got the door open but inside was a tiny tiny box and I couldn't fit in it and the end of the platform was coming up. Then there were no more trains and a lot of disabled people left at the station. Mentally ill people and alcoholics introducing themselves by their problems and people in wheelchairs who couldn't get past the barriers and they couldn't get a train and they couldn't get out of the station. And then someone started pushing the people in chairs down the stairs. Or gluing them in and leaving them outside in the cold.
I can tell you I've had more restful total insomnia than I had that night's sleep.
It turned out to be a plot to stop the last teacher of a specific martial art for passing on his skills in demon hunting. He was using a chair but he could get out to demonstrate. And he had a two stick fighting form that kicked arse, and would be handy for people who happen to need two sticks. So the demons kept trying to kill him and wipe out anyone that might learn from him or even respect him. They didn't win though.
Also there was a bit about driving out the disabled people so they could take out the accessible seating and put in extra tables. They didn't win on that one either. We made them put the breakfast back on the big low table with the extra wide aisle.
Dear subconscious: you are not subtle. and I now have a headache. and I have to go to the dentist today.
:-p
