long day is looooong
Sep. 21st, 2011 11:11 pmtoday I woke up early (from a rather fun dream about the Doctor and sonic screwdrivers)
which gave me enough time to get all in a tizz before leaving for college.
then there was college. lesson was not very interesting. contained nothing that wasn't in the handouts. and some working with other students, but no one works with me and I lack skills to get in groups so I just end up working alone to get ideas from my head. which I can do at home. so it's a bit pointless. I should do more talking and listening when there's people around.
then I spent the afternoon in the library reading Maus. It is very difficult to read. Easy words, terrible difficult topic. I'm not looking forward to thinking on it for weeks.
after that it was time to go to the pub and talk science fiction. well, no, it was an hour early, but the library at college closes.
I got there early. Then there was a new guy who got there like half an hour before anyone else. He talks. Lots. I don't think we have many opinions in common. He likes the more recent Torchwood and the Highlander movies especially Endgame. Its sad cause he watches Highlander and Torchwood yet is all backwards about them.
Then we played Just a Minute. I was somewhat at a disadvantage with not knowing the rules until I bumped into them. Also, it involves talking. :-p to that. But the listening was fun.
Then the pub closed much early. But luckily my lift home arrived right the minute the closing happened.
now I am home.
it does not look long on paper. But it was very plenty long.
my head has a busy now. reckon it'll take an hour just to unwind enough to go try and sleep.
also I had fruit in juice when I got home and I spilled it on my chair already. not on the computer though, so that's okay.
long day is long, and tired me is tired.
