beccaelizabethI have reached the point where I can't read any more about The Cabinet of Dr Caligari without both starting whole new books and going beyond the suggested reading list. Also I have gone through getting screencaps from the Openflix version on Youtube that actually matches the DVD from the library that we were watching in class. Rather than the version with many minutes missing that was linked on Blackboard.
... Blackboard thinks I'm not enrolled in anything at all at all, including my degree.
... I would panic but it is in the queue for panic somewhere behind 'OMG I have until Friday to do this essay' and 'OMG I have until next Friday to do the bibliography and proposal for my disseration and I'm about 100 hours work behind'. I mean it's totally a worthy topic of panic, but as long as the upload my work for e submission links still work, it is panic that can wait a week and a half. Just as I can wait that week and a half before I try and sort out my UEA library card so it knows I'm still a student. It runs out on 8th of June. Even if I need an extra week extension the card will last until the essay is in. My panics must stack.
I have emails waiting to be answered :-(
Actually I can't remember if I answered already in one conversation and may end up answering twice.
Possibly not until after I do essays though.
talking to humans should also wait in line behind the essay panic.
... so I should get at least a draft essay done before going to the pub on Wednesday, even if this semester has been so exhausting with all the lessons being on Wednesday that I've missed the pub for months.
... boo.
But! I have done the reading. I can now regurgitate it in writing. It will be too long and not have a point yet. Then I can poke it until it is pointy. Thus essays get made.
... I had more of a point before I read everything and decided all the points were already made.
Also that they were stupid.
... study iz hard.
I do all this wheel spinning looks-like-work when I should just sit down and bang out an essay.
Efficiency: I no has it.
I'm really looking forward to my degree being over now.
