I made an avatar, and now I will babble about it

You do not want to know how long it took me to make this thing. My whole inability to quit thing kicked in. First I had to go play with every single picture on the elouai.com/doll-makers/candybar-doll-maker.php dollmaker site, then I realised that if I combined two hairstyles I'd get one that looked pretty much like mine, except for the color. Mine is currently black. It might be red later. But it is very short along the sides and back, so mostly doll hair doesnt look much like it. When it is down it does the whole Morticia thing, with a bit of fiddling with the hot smoother thingy. Up it makes a big ponytail. Not as big as in the pic because I couldnt be bothered to look after it like that, but black and shiny. So I stuck those bits together.

And changed the color on the glasses. And stuck three different earrings together to make pretty dangly things, even though I dont actually have pierced ears. Clip ons can be dangly too.

And I had gone through every single head shape to find one that goes with these eyes, which are nicely wierd and not quite human. The shape I ended up with looks... possibly like me if I lost a lot of weight. So, close enough.

And then there were eyebrows. Which make an expression. I tried for neutral, I think I got surprised or incredulous. But, not angry or sad.

And the mouth isnt the prettiest one but really I'm not a smiley person so putting a smiley mouth on it would be misleading.

And then I had to squish the hairstyle so it fits in 100x100 without resizing everything. Which took a while cause I wanted to keep the pretty shape so I fiddled for ages.

And then finally I had the picture. Yaay me!

I think it took about 12 hours.

Yes, I am insane, and obsessive-compulsive a bit, thanks for noticing...

*head, desk, arrgh*

So, babble. Because lookit, done.

Then I added the Watcher symbol and Be, so it looks like me. But that took about 5 minutes even with the program crashing.

Now I just have to hope I actually still like it tommorrow, and remember to use it now and then.

note to self- if you GIP then change the keywords it goes back to the default pic instead. arrgh.

also- yes, it looks like my head has been cut off. Was going to add lightning but its a teeny tiny gif so it wouldnt look like much. But is vaguely funny. Except for the part where I'd be dead.
