For the win
Aug. 3rd, 2015 12:15 pmToday I did Monday and Sunday tasks, because I knew I was going outside today so I waited on the shopping bits.
I went to Lloyds because I'd found some old bank books and needed to double check they were for closed things and dispose of them properly.
Then I went to the computer shop to pay for the computer fixings. I asked about buying a new laptop and they reckon all brands of laptop are much of a muchness now and it'll cost about £265 for something very probably better than my desktop PC. I liked the Toshiba one I had before because it lasted all through college, but they sell mostly HP, so they say they're the same. Also they say I need HDMI plugs to connect a TV and a computer and if my graphics card don't do it then they can put a new one in for... I think it was £30. So I am pondering.
I went to the library and put the books back. There's some kind of small children thing happening. Small children make much noise and random action and are quite difficult to be around. Also the local library is just overheated and blergh inside. So I didn't hang around. I did however show the librarian the book with the blechy messes on the pages. They might decide it's a perfectly reasonable book still, but it's a bit not nice. So.
After that it was Morrisons time for Sunday Breakfast and shoppings. Had beans two eggs three hash browns like per usual. Bought bread and cheesly like usual. Remembered the unusual items. Checked for magazines but they're still the ones I already have.
And now I'm home. And they're drilling through the wall in the hallway, between the hall and outside. I'm just going to hope the noisy bits stop soon and that they're actually allowed.
That was some plenty good errands.
Only took... about three hours...
