Doctor Who: Heaven Sent
Nov. 28th, 2015 09:02 pmRight now I am just :-D
Because that was the first time in a couple of years I have just fallen in love with the Doctor all over again.
That was awesome.
It was totally fair play.
And even though I'd figured out a lot of it from the get go, my own assumptions misled me for a long while, cause I thought circular time and paradox trap, but no, it was simpler and absolutely diabolical.
So I only figured out what the Doctor was doing right before it got visible, and the slowly dawning :-D is a feeling I've not had about Doctor Who for a while.
"That's a hell of a bird."
Do not read spoilers (under the cuts). This one is fun.
And I had all the feels the story wanted me to.
:-D
The confession dial was a mystery set up so subtly I hadn't been wondering about it. But that with the customised setting meant to make you confess... oh, that's proper nasty.
I can only figure the Doctor didn't expect Gallifrey to play fair though, since he told them the last confession as soon as he got through. And, well, we've met Time Lords, so fair enough.
On the other hand it's possibly only Gallifrey that hadn't guessed who the hybrid is, at least as part of a list, but same like before with Missy, the fun part is watching it play through.
I am :-D and looking forward to next week quite a lot.
... aaaaand expecting disappointment, but hey, looking forward to it, that's a bit new.
