But those are the pursuits of the educated, literally the only way in is to spend two extra years in school and get a two year internship with them. People who need to go to work straight away, who need to keep the land growing for instance, they're not so much going to be able to do that, maybe.
Central having a shift in society as the middle class professional takes over? And they're Wheelers, maybe, mostly, but with a different focus. Like, having four whole priesthoods for alive growing things makes as much sense to city dwelling professionals as it does to me, ie it's fine if you think about it, but, gut feel is awkward.
And the lady of the water is going to have fewer devotees the further from the sea you get. Or, actually, the closer to the coast the banestorms get, and the less accessible they reckon the sea is. She's still the lady of the river boats, but that's a whole different feel. Let alone lady of the lakes.
But if it's not Battle and Victory, what would Central call it?
