I read a short story that needed trigger warnings for murder and suicide.
And then I got very sidetracked deciding precisely which trenchcoat my character would wear, and getting unreasonably annoyed that they rotate colors with seasons so the gold she would like is currently only available in a size 8, and if shopping now she might have to get clay or stone or some such instead.
... except she's a time traveller, so probably she'd just nip back to when they were in stock.
... but wouldn't that be the daftest way to give away your temporal origins? wear next season's colors? I mean there's fashion forward and fashion forward.
Coat in question is $380 or about £199. I personally wear something around £24 from the supermarket, so I don't know why my character is picky.
