Science fiction group success

beccaelizabethWe went to Norwich Science Fiction Group at the Ribs of Beef and it was pretty good.
First I had been wanting a Subway veggie patty since I woke up, so we stopped to get one, and I went in on my own and spoke as necessary. Big win!
Then we went to Norwich and parked in the good spot under a tree. But walking we saw blue lights, and it turned out to be four (4) police cars, thankfully not going in to our pub. I hope they were just bored or something but suspect not.
The talking part of the evening went pretty good. Topic was supposed to be Frankenstein but I had failed at reading the source text or watching any of the adaptations so that did not work. (oops) I had hoped there would be more people and I could listen more, but no.
SO then we played Pandemic. We won the first game :-) Then we ran out of time and probably cards on the second, but we'd got 3/4, so, not bad.
... I still need to come up with more talking. Is difficult when it's just the one guy and we've been talking this long. I shall prepare better for next time.
