Matrix angels
Aug. 30th, 2019 11:00 amI just had one of those you are in the Matrix dreams, combined with cars cars so many cars, with added bonus here is your perfect house but you can't get to it because cars cars so many cars.
ugh.
But there was a funny bit where the computer thought Stiles' name was Stiles, because he'd switched school records so it not only had his name listed as Stiles Stilinski it also had middle names with the initials tile. So he was S.T.I.L.E.Stilinski and in the simulation that was how all official documents referred to him. So he twigged right away there was something phony about the setup.
Is one way to not type Mieczysław. ... I have to go copy paste it to get the not l on there. It doesn't even pop up on my keyboard like all the á stuff.
ANYway, Stiles responded to this knowledge by getting all the teenagers he could find and declaring prank war. First step to run through the admin halls spraying them with... whipped cream or shaving foam? I don't know, big cans of something. Which was an obvious distraction designed to get people out of their offices but should have just resulted in harmless yelling.
Instead the building caught fire and the 'offices' turned out to be full of triple bunks of people who would not wake up and needed dragged out of there.
So, unreality, cars, and fire. Oh joy.
And somewhere in there I got woke up by a two second burst of fire alarm in real life, followed by an eight seconds, again, which appears to be a Friday thing now but this was right at the beginning of the day and I couldn't get to sleep after dancing until I took a painkiller
so already this is not my favourite morning.
Also in the dream someone tried to kickstart someone's super healing only to find they didn't have it in the simulation. There were a lot of archers running around, someone got hit by an arrow, someone else would usually have been able to heal them so someone got ruthless and stabbed them too. Not fun times.
Woke up wondering why a sim would be so hell bent on simulation killing people, concluded they needed the original minds to think they were dead so a sim could be loaded to carry out their agenda in the real world.
They probably needed more server space or cpus or something. They kept folding the map in weird ways so you wouldn't have to walk all the in between streets. Small world, considering google streetview would have it all covered anyways.
yes i know dreams dont need a reason. still. sim people who need more space so they invade our minds, plenty good story, and if they get hold of metahumans... I mean imagine how fast they could make world if they got a speedster...
so, plot bunny fun, dream decidedly not.
