Norwich Board Gamers

beccaelizabethNobog has a new venue for December
so I played board games in a room decorated with painted stag heads with blooming antlers
and fancy portrait style pictures where the heads were stags.
Stylish and vaguely pagan.
Unfortunately I am not a fan of the stairs to get there. They aren't the worst in Norwich but the hand rail runs out before the top of the stairs, which is ungood and leaves you stranded if you actually need the thing, and the handrail is also not steady. I don't know what the going downstairs stairs are like but the going upstairs ones I tried today were Not Cool.
I don't know if they're enough to not use the place. It means it would not be my choice of venue, but so few places would be, and I am not the one choosing.
I had to leave at 9pm again and it is slightly frustrating.
But I played Pandemic so that bit was fun.
We didn't win but games are fun anyway.
... okay I am not in a cheerful up mood now, but, I achieved the thing and it was fine.
Next time the challenge is to join a game someone else brought. One that only lasts until 9pm, which I don't know if I haven't played it. But still. More social, more variety.
... or bring different games.
