Pretty good day

Today's holiday preparations were all having Cleaner Day early, so it doesn't fall on actual holiday.
So my house is clean now
and the rainbow cutlery has been washed again ready
and I ran the dishwasher
and did laundry, including an extra rinse because it was being very bubbles, and a dry that seems to have worked nicely.

Pretty big success.

Not massively fascinating to tell the internet about though.



I have been watching His Dark Materials because it's on the iPlayer
but I had forgotten the whole bad things happen to children aspect of the story
having forgotten almost all the story
and I have a pretty low tolerance for bad things happen to chiildren
and have reached a point where I want to punch, like, a really long list of characters now.

It's all very pretty and the daemons are neat and the bear is spectacular
but I am not sure watching it is enriching my life.



Adventure is just A Lot, you know?


I should go back to the sort of fanfic where you just read about people being okay forever.


But that was my day. Mildly upsetting TV with bits I don't want to think about, and lots of cleaning.
