Driders kmow Suggestion "Help the babies" sounds reasonable, or very reasonable duration is one hour per level and they cast as sixth level so as long as everything happens in six hours or less, Archer could be under a Suggestion.
None of his Storm Druid stuff makes him resist it harder.
This would mean the drider would be alive when he got there. She could send up dancing lights to attract attention.
But whatever she was dying of worries me rather.
Shipwreck is obvious but ships are not a typical context for drider. Caves can come up anywhere but then why the need for help?
