I dreamt that Eliot Spencer was my ex and I went to him for help with a job and things were getting Interesting but then he was like
we're not doing this again, we either do this or I work with you

chose work.

It was actually a thing where we'd broken up because he wanted to treat me like I was fragile because the more he cared and saw me in danger the more he just wanted me out of danger regardless of the work we needed to do

so okay

the actual long term solve there was getting him to respect my abilities and believe I was close enough to an equal that I could risk my own neck if I wanted to
