BFA Torchwood Lease of Life

beccaelizabethI did not like this one very much. Owen, but not being very Owen-y. Not doing medical help when stuff happens to people, for instance.
Basically the whole story is the house digests people into compost, and then it stops. So lots of screamy horror and running away but I didnt really see the appeal as a story.
The talky interview bits after thought the ending was some kind of Terrible Fate.
She has to stay living at the same house. After it has been completely renovated with Torchwood money. She just cant leave. For more than 96 hours at a time.
... I'm not really seeing the terrible. I mean she can still do everything I've ever done, and, she owns a house.
What actually would suck is the part where she has to live in the house that will probably be in her every nightmare, but nobody in the interviews mentiined that. They just thought it was terrible she couldnt go to South America.
So I do not relate.
Oh well.
... actually come to think they didnt say how long she has to be there to reset it. Like, unless they mentioned it and I missed it, it could be thqt she only has to go have a cup of tea there every 95ish hours? That's a bit less terrible.
Dont think I'll relisten to this one.
