Dangerous Women

beccaelizabethI bought part one of three, of a collection edited by George RR Martin and Gardner Dozois.
I think I got the wrong idea of what it meant by Dangerous Women. Most of these stories seem to hate women a lot. I thought there would be adventures. Only the last one is like I thought, and it's really very dark.
There's nasty trigger warning stuff all over, including first person narrator describing experiencing child sexual abuse, his mother/abuser's suicide, and then murdering a woman as he was having sex with her. Which really I could have done without reading. Required tags would have put me off almost all of these. Lots of murder. Underage noncon. One story about a post apocalyptic group where girls are raped by every man in the group as soon as they start having periods. The men get poisoned and left behind, but the story seemed to think the whole world was like that, which is gross. And at the start there's all the dragons stuff from GRRM, which is just a parade of vicious futility and a speed run of why I gave up on his books.
I will not be buying the other two (parts of this) books.
I'm going to get rid of this one.
