Doctor Who : Voyage of the Damned

beccaelizabethToday I watched the DW Christmas episode from 2007.
... that seems an unreal length of time to be ago. I think I got stuck in 2013 or something, it dont seem long ago, and yet the calendar disagrees.
Doctor Who makes some *choices* for xmas family viewing. Lets do a disaster movie where almost everyone dies! With comedy being really wrong about xmas, and many explosions, and the 'queen' with her corgis. Totally festive!
The Host that look like angels until they take their halo off and just have those spikes sticking up are a striking idea. But making them look like ornaments maybe doesnt quite work.
Doctor Who is ambitious, and like nothing else on TV.
You kind of have to roll with it a lot though.
I had my booster vaccine on the 23rd and today was mostly made of Nope and feeling a bit meh. But, up side, I had my booster.
Also a lot of books I ordered that said they'd be here after xmas actually arrived already.
... I would kind of like a button around this time of year that says
Not A Present, Breathe, Take Your Time
but no, it's multiple deliveries a day time.
So I have many entertainments waiting.
Is good.
