beccaelizabethI hate how hot my flat gets and stays in summer.
I got a new tower fan (yaay) because the previous new tower fan turned out to be aesthetically pleasing but not entirely helpful (unyaay) and I just spent most of the small hours of the night with the new fan in the window blowing outside cool into the flat and while that helped by a couple of degrees it is still unreasonably warm in here.
But I did get around to putting paper in the blue drawers that have blue come off on everything, and putting boxed CDs in there like I planned. It's not efficient storage and the paper has raggedy edges and I decided I don't care about either part of that because it has been a year and a half and I just need to put the stuff away.
... it's probable I could rearrange the existing CD drawers to put more things in better places, but, a half assed job that actually gets done beats heck out of the ideal thing I've been not getting around to for... ever.
I hate fan noise, I can't think while it's running and I can't wear headphones all the time because they ran out. ... and I only just remembered I have wired headphones for such an occasion, but the phone I was playing Doctor Who on also ran mostly out, and it only has the one plug place for charging or the headphone adapter, so that don't work either.
I relistened to The Reaping and The Gathering, and now I plan to relisten The Harvest as well. Since it conveniently plays a bit of each related one at the end of the previous ones. They're good, very drama, but I am grumpy and fan noise sucks.
Maybe I should have a nap...
