beccaelizabethI have been listening to more Doctor Who Once and Future but not reviewing them as I go along. Most of them are fun, all of them are crowded, and the ones that resonate with me seem to be heavily about mortality and legacy and all that serious stuff, which makes "The Artist at the End of Time" the winner thus far. Plus it is somehow hilarious to me to hear a father and daughter play a different father and daughter.
Then I listened to the chatty bits at the end of the David Tennant one and they were about how it was the middle of 2020 and they were recording in their wardrobe at home and they were all like hopefully by the time this comes out covid will be over and we'll all have forgotten it and this will be some weird historical footnote
so then I paused for a bit to stare and think some thoughts.
I mean things are very improved, yaay vaccines etc, but like.
*stares and thinks thoughts*
In other news: I do like going for supported Nice Walks. The routine has been going well enough I haven't always been writing them down. Like going Outside is just an ordinary part of the week.
So that's nice.
But I kind of miss how things worked in, say, 2019, and much of it went away and stayed away, and I remain Many steps away from things working like that again.

Gardens are nice and flowers keep changing and I like when plants are colorful but also things are becoming excellent Shapes now.
So Outside has its interestings.
I think if I won the lottery - a reasonable amount of lottery, if it was Grand Money it'd be time to make a TV show based on Pathfinder with all the actors I've ever been to a convention for, but short of that - if I won the lottery I'd want a two bedroom bungalow with a living room and possibly also a dining room, except they'd just list that as a three bedroom. But there are lots of bungalows where the kitchen has a hatch or a counter to the dining room area, which has benefits but is no good for sitting around in, so, maybe Big Kitchen You Can Eat In, and also a living room big enough to choose if tv time is for recliner or for exercise bike. At the moment I haven't enough house for an exercise bike and I could do with a teensy bit more exercise.
What else...
I like the t shirt I got for my birthday, I hung it up in my bedroom and I think it looks good like that. It's the one with Captain Jack Harkness says 'The Universe Needs You' https://www.thewhoshop.com/shop/t-shirts-clothing/t-shirts/adult-t-shirts/exclusive-captain-jack-harkness-t-shirt . I have also figured out how to set it to my phone and watch screens, if I want to. So that's inspiring.
Lucy and Yak https://lucyandyak.com/ clothes continue to be good, I like the rainbow and orion and today aurora patterns especially, and they're in All The Sizes including mine which is never a given. Alexa trousers are very hood shapes, but I don't think I wear dungarees or jumpsuits, so many good things aren't the perfectly perfect thing. Worth checking every week though.
I've been reading some fanfic but I seem to have hit a streak of finding things vaguely familiar, hitting kudos, and finding out I kudosed here before.
On tumblr I clicked through to someone's Torchwood tag on their journal and ended up with a queue that filled Monday to just about Thursday of all Torchwood gifs. I tried putting them in some kind of themey order but every time I look at my queue it seems to be in a different order so Torchwood shuffle it is. Regular posting will resume after that cause everything else goes in the queue too.
I should rewatch Torchwood.
