Oct. 23rd, 2025 04:41 amI have reached the part of playing Wrath of the Righteous where I get really bad at taking breaks. Act 5 gives you all these urgent rescue missions to do at once and I know it's a game so they don't trigger the stuff happening until you show up but logically you are being asked to prioritise who to leave captive for longest and that is stressful. But I've been to the Falls, rescued Galfrey, restored the herald, and finished Gundrun, plus saw Ember finally convince like everyone everyone. Greybor's meeting went well. I just found the old mine. It's all going reasonably well 🤞
There are some buffs the Angel spells give you that are making attempts to hit us just maximum futile. Which is fun yet does not give me the feeling of having got good at the game.
Decided to romance Ulbrig to the end on this play through and it turns out some important personal stuff is hidden in the last romance meeting after you have to choose. Like it's a real payoff of his whole everything so far. But that is a bit weird because the romance in the romance is kind of minimal? Honestly these people need therapy more than they need a date. The story doesn't seem to know these are different things. But it is nice seeing Ulbrig work through his issues and find hope beyond grief.
... Lann had decided he was romancing me and no nope that is... not what he was doing. not in an evil way but no. am not dating.
Whatever was going on in Galfrey's mind based on meeting for entire numbers of minutes is just... odd.
But Ulbrig is just nice, if he's your type at all at all, so I like how that went so far.
In real world news I went for my nice walk for this week and shall be getting a hair cut next week. Winning. One hour of support to go outside a week is not much but every little helps.
Gardens are nice when you see them once a week. Like stop motion for seasonal flowers.
And I gave away an annoying book to a charity shop so hopefully it can find its reader.
Pretty okay.
