I tried to have A Nice Sleep but instead I had A Rubbish Nap and now I am neither asleep nor inclined to start anything much because it is Sleep Time I just failed at it.

I have been thinking about character portraits in computer games. Wrath of the Righteous has more limited character design options than I have seen on videos about other games, but you also don't get fancy cut scenes where you get particularly close to characters, so it's all one in play. But instead of taking the animated character you design and using a little portrait of that where applicable, you get Arts.
Several Arts and some items art under the cut plus a few comments

The archer with the mask was one character I played through right to winning. I think the gold dragon?
I haven't been where people are without a mask since about 2020. So I appreciate the masked option.
... I got sidetracked trying to search up the other more colorful masked picture that I just used for a Tiefling Witch Angel play through, but google is actively useless and keeps making up characters and deciding I'm looking for pictures of Valerie even when I specify enemy and it's just bad.
I keep finding people complaining about the painted portraits because there are so many more options than art for them. And yes, but, there are these nice arts as available pretty options. People are very glass half empty sometimes. I can see what they mean though, for many many many combinations you'd really rather snap a picture of your actual character.
Which is another reason I like the masked ones.
The arts give you a nice set of ideas of what that world looks like though.
aha, second art I was looking for is on the wiki here

this one has a second version of the portrait
https://pathfinderkingmaker.fandom.com/wiki/Defaced_Sister_(Armag%27s_Tomb)
so you see the mask is to cover up their Scary Face.
... boring.
that character I made Green Faith because sickles. Then I never found sickles nice enough to try using them in combat. Also am not a melee person.
I also did an azata worshipper of Sarenrae play through with a companion portrait from Kingmaker
https://pathfinderkingmaker.fandom.com/wiki/Tristian
because the general Robes Is All You Get look seemed nice.
For a similar Big Coat And Hat Leaves You Wondering theme

top left of that set.
... yeah, this might be a bit revealing...
Preferred theme: You Do Not Perceive Me, plus Look, Am Iconic.
bit of tension there, but it would be simpler to cosplay these guys and get the general vibe, iconic like that.
Okay so I think I had a point planned when I went to look for the pictures but that was almost an hour ago and I Forgot.
So.
I do kind of want to cosplay a character, aside from lacking cosplay venues, but if I put all the preferred magic items on them that gets quite a bit complex. Also there are puttees. Which seem fiddly and are not widely fashionable at present.
... I like the magic footwear that gives you immunity to prone condition and faster movement, not from a character perspective, just because they're boots of no falling down or at least getting back up again.
The flaming part of some magic staffs might be a bit tricky as well.
Being made of two really big snakes seems like the kind of thing people would sell already.
I do not find it though.

Robe of the Seven Sins plus Sin Mage's Staff is the set for serious business and 24hr buffs even for quick stuff.
But higher level means fancier a lot of the time so, not simples to costume.
Okay, aside from some vague thiughts about adventurer's aposematism and the absolutely wild economic divisions between ordinary survival money and magic item money, I am not coming up with more thiughts.
Or more sleepy.
I'll go away anyways.
