Feb. 17th, 2006 03:15 pmhad a convention based nightmare last night. or possibly some time in the middle of the afternoon, my sleep cycle being what it is.
dreamed I got up on stage and danced
to 'Lady Marmalade'
while wearing boots, a corset, a thong, and a white mesh shawl that I waved around a lot
in the dream, that wasn't actually the nightmarey part. (That had to do with having to store my luggage on stage because the hotel had lost my room booking for the Sunday night, and then finding someone had gone through it and nicked a ton of stuff and scattered the rest everywhere, and when I said so to the con organisers there was much woe and *me* being banned from conventions because they decided I was accusing them).
In my dreams I always look like people off the TV, and could very well pull off the look. (Except for it all being white - so very not my style).
But once I'm awake?
*blush blush blush*
*reminds self to never get drunk in public*
of course the actual difference between that outfit and what I usually wear is, basically, the skirt, which is two strips of velvet and some string sometimes. But I feel that is an *important* difference.
also, dancing on the stage is usually Not Allowed.
and involves far too many people Looking At Me.
dreams are annoying. lots of running around screaming. I like it much better when I have dreams I win.
