beccaelizabethTorchwood - made even more sense on second viewing when I was watching not reading. Though there were definite barrels of crazy with Suzie.
Also, much as I adore the stopwatch stuff, flirting over a corpse? Creepy much?

Possibilities for the future - Jack reckons what they need to make the glove work is empathy, and wanting it that much. Life gets transferred from the one using the glove to the one they bring back. But Jack doesn't seem to really run out of life - he's got it to spare, he's giving it away. Therefore...
Risen Mitten the second, life knife, Jack... Who would Jack care for enough he'd risk that?
Classified not-Ianto asks: Is it Suzie that's evil or is it the glove that made her evil?
... define evil?
If Suzie knew before she died that this was how the knife worked, why was she still killing people?

The glove wants to be used, and it's some kind of rush? Eeew, not research, research all done with, just experiencing that over again.

I like their reasoning for this episode.
I think a lot of what I like about this ep is that it's payoff, not setup. All the other eps have been new stuff, new to us, mostly new to the characters, lots of setup. But. This one is knock on effects, this is payoff. Lovely.
That bit where Gwen takes her hand down and there's blood on it... that's genuinely scary creepy right there. I mean, everyone's had headaches that made them wonder, you know?
"Because life is all" ... yeah, but if it is all that, why kill herself? Well, she's got a different perspective now, yes, but she set it all up.
Also, it is the bad guy talking about the nothing and life being all. Obviously therefore the point is that there's more important things than being alive.
I like it that Ianto was doing Jack maintenance at the end and plausibly responding to loss too. Because people have sex to be alive and happy. I like that.
If it was slash fic we'd be concentrating on the build up and the connection and such, but this is not slash. Is the only drawback really.
