Am now convinced TPTB don't want me to wish for things.
or possibly just not those things.
so I'll just say the important bits-
Ethan stories, Giles stories with Ethan in them, Ethan/Giles stories, Ripper stories, Ripper and Ethan stories.
Yes, I'm focused. I seem to have read all the ones I can find. More stories, more better.
Links and recs, both fanfic, tie-in fic and regular fiction.
I've kind of run out of my favourite authors, so I need new authors to try.
since I haven't told everyone all my already authors that could turn into a big long discussion about books, but that too would be an interesting present.
Cultural Studies textbooks.
that part only because every year someone finishes the course I'm just starting so they could theoretically want me to take their textbooks off their hands. I need stuff with 'Introduction' in the title basically, or the 'Readers'. John Storey and Dominic Strinati are names as have been mentioned. Everything I have at the moment is really really specific, and about Buffy or Angel, so any general textbook would be neat.
At the moment I am not actually very good at Cultural Studies. My goal for the year is to turn up for class. I think if I go for two more weeks I'll have equalled the number of classes I attended before going splat last year. After that I've passed my basic goal. The whole actually passing the course thing would be gravy.
Textbooks are unlikely to change that hugely. But they would still be neat. They could go with my Art History big huge book and make a nice kind of sculpture when I end up nevery using them again.
er, I'm not persuading anyone I'm a good investment there, am I?
*sigh*
anyone who actually still wants to send me books, e me for my snail mail.
I'm not big with the wanting of things. Data, yes, endless supplies of brain food needed, but specific things, not so much. So filling up a ten item list, not so easy.
Think I'll leave it at that.
