yaays!

now I just have to read all the open windows
... still may be some time.

... which y'all *need to know* :eyeroll:

I shall write about convention stuff eventually. Probably. I think.
There's bunches of things people said on stage that the world may well be interested in, but mostly I can remember the bits with me in, which obviously are of more limited interest.

Stuff that I only have in my memory and not on paper or something I can refer to gives me this weird feeling like maybe I made it up and haven't noticed yet. I'm never quite sure of the existence of reality as represented by my brain. Which makes writing about it all kinds of risky, because what if everyone looks at me funny and says such things only happened in my little world?

... I am weird and worry much about many things.

Okays, bits I have evidence for:

I has photos with famous cute people.
I don't look particularly famous.
I look kind of wonky and with extra chins.

On the plus side I have fabulous hair
even if it is somewhat asymmetrical
the colors are great.

Jonathan Woodward spelled my name wrong in two different ways.
First he missed out an e and managed to add an extra l while trying to fix it and made oops face so I said that's okay I collect variations
so then he got creative making variations I wouldn't have seen before
and I became 'beccalelizabethitosis'
and 'bekkaelizabhethe'
then he spelled his own name wrong to make up for it.

Dude is one of a kind.

I did not do drinking alcohol even for his version of communion
but it was fun watching
and also fun noting who didn't drink

J said he was catholic and couldn't
Armin Shimerman said he sold it for years, he doesn't drink it
and I think it was Mark Sheppard that was offered water in a, er, slightly odd and spurty kind of way.

Mostly people knelt and got a bottle delivered at, er, waist height.

Brody Hutzler got some in his eye.

The lesser known perils of conventions.

What else... CK and SC drink beer with tomato juice in it as a hangover cure.
Even if I was tempted to drink I think hangover cures would put me off.

There were many surprise guests and I'm pretty sure I'm not remembering them all. Mostly not having heard of them. It kind of looked like Sean was just collecting pretty ladies, and fair enough really. But obviously they were pretty ladies with previous convention attendance and presumably fans.
The surprise guests did not so much seem to get people wanting their autograph. Is what happens when nobody knows you're going to be there I guess.

I gave Brody a smiley. He was sitting there next to Dayne but nobody was getting him to sign things. I had run out of autograph ticky boxes, but I asked if he wanted a smiley. He said he *needed* one and chose the biggest one.

That was the same standing in lines day I gave away a whole sheet in a take one and pass it on way. Some days need extra smiley.

Also smiley is a language I'm pretty sure I can communicate in.

I gave Armin Shimerman a note saying how I'd only just watched DS9 and Quark was cool. I didn't want to hold up the autograph line of extreme longness any more than it already was, but he stopped to read it and say thanks right there, so it maybe didn't work. But did worked better than attempting to stutter.

Christian Kane is going to be in another film covered in temporary tattoos. (Found a photo badsexyboys.vox.com/library/photo/6a00d41418e8bd6a4700cd973032024cd5.htmlhere) Only unlike Angel they weren't press on printed sheets, they had to get painted every single time. He would go in waaaaaay early and just go sleep while he got his back painted. So someone stood up in the Q&A and asked where that kind of job got advertised, and could they apply for it.
He was amused.
So, I had many sheets of temporary tattoo with me...
gave him one when I went for autograph.
He liked :-)
(It was a big tribal sort of thingy, swirls and points, not particular symbols. Other than that I had mostly butterflies and bat wings. Didn't really seem like him. But he liked the pattern I gave.)
I thought maybe he was being 'wow thanks' in an actor way, but then when his friend came back and I was across the room in the q I saw him showing him and putting it on his arm to try out.
So he actually liked.
:-D

I feel weekend of making people smile is win, really.

*is impressed*

Most of that is more than I currently have the courage for. I very much like your smiley idea, though... Mind if I borrow that for Dragon*Con? :)
