Five Black and Gold Rings- 52 hits since I posted it on my site, after I notified every mailing list I could think of, and got in the Sunnydale Herald, and told a bunch of LJ communities.

Deep Insight- 34 hits, when I posted it here and trkkr47 reced it.

Lesson learned... Okay, it isn't 'lazy gets you nearly as much attention', is it? Really?

I think lesson is 'more people read trkkr47 than me'.

Fair enough.

It's on my list of fics to get to. You should consider posting it on-list instead of just sending a link. Typically I don't follow outside links -- well, I can't at work, but sometimes I can get away with just reading fic in my e-mail.

Yeah, I realise mostly people are on email lists because they want to get actual email. But to post it that way I'd have to, like, do work. And fiddle it into sections. And also it wouldn't make my page counter keep going up. Which I realise isn't the mainest important thing, but it gives me a happy :)

Also once is posted to mailing lists I can't tweak the typos any more.

These probably don't add up to good reasons. I guess the other reason is it alwasy bothers me to send large email to many places, because then many K in the mailbox, but it isn't many K compared to most current mailboxes, so... *shrugs*

guess I'm just shy still :)
