Oct. 25th, 2007 07:25 pmSaw a little map today. Have realised that the geography inside my head much more resembles the London Underground map than it does what you'd call actual geography. I mean, I've got a rough idea of how the bus routes connect things up, and where the trains go, and where you have to swap to get to other places, and how many stops. But I have absolutely not the faintest clue where things are in relation to each other on a not-route-related map. It's rather embarrassing. I'm looking at the map and being all 'what's that doing over there?' when the actual thought should be more like 'huh, the trains must do a big zig zag there'.
On the plus side, the public transport related version is in fact the one more useful to me, so that works out.
