from 1-06:
Other security issues: Team found an abandoned lunch van in the area. Awaiting test results on samples, but we suspect the villagers sold meat pies containing human flesh.
Staff: Brought Ianto Jones along to get him out of the Hub, out of the city, get some relaxing time in the country with the team. May not have been the best decision I made this year.

Other Staff issues: Ianto is still suffering, but putting on a brave face. Will try talking to him over dinner, outside the Hub, see if there's anything more I can do for him.
Upcoming issues: Considering organizing some sort of regular social outing for everyone, to raise morale, enable us to talk about work safely. Will have to tread carefully, these things can end in karaoke.
The 'regular social outing' seemed to me to be what they were doing in 1-04, though Ianto stayed behind. *shrugs* still, 'end in karaoke' = lol again.
So the blog fills in a Thing with him and Ianto, Jack having more contact with Ianto outside work, Ianto staying on Jack's side after 1-05, lots of little stuff. Which do smooth things rather. Also the timeline gets stretched - there's weeks between 4 and 5, for instance, which explains why Ianto is back at work so 'soon'.
however as supplemental stuff this could get contradicted on screen any time, and isn't the only interesting version of what happened. Still, is trying.
