beccaelizabethI went and got breakfast again :-)
It's bitter cold out there, and very wet by the time I was coming home. And the pavements are all full of fallen leaves, which is very artistic but also very slippery.
But I wanted my meat free breakfast. I looked in my cupboards and I seem to have only the same meals to eat. A lot of it, but just the pasta and two kinds of sauce and three kinds of not-meat and two kinds of steamer vegetables. That combines a few different ways, yes, but only a few. I don't have eggs cause they went past date when I wasn't looking and I don't have baked beans cause I ate them all. And I never have mushrooms. So I went to eat at the shop again.
And then I got donuts. I went in thinking I really wanted cookies, but the 29p donuts lured me again. It's only now I'm home I remember I decided to never ever eat them again after the last, er, three times. Oops. I shall retrain myself some day.
They have many kinds of cookies. I have not bought any. I shall ponder and decide which kind I want.
Probably the kind I get by walking past the cookie shop that smells good. that cost ridiculous money. It's the smell and the walking and the getting it because I want to more than the actual cookie part of the experience.
Okay, now I go back to bed to thaw. And read.
I still have an essay to edit together, but I do need to recharge between Events.
Which, er, suggests I shouldn't have gone out, but *shrugs*
