that thanksgiving thing

beccaelizabethpeople's being happy with the ritual sacrifice with pie. yaay.
I'm not big on the killing of food animals, but I do kinda like the idea of a day where everyone says thanks and what they're grateful for and stuff. And this being the UK and not a holiday it can be totally unconnected with sitting around with large amounts of family. Which, you know, kind of on the list.
Things that are pretty cool:
Alive! Yaays!
Thinking it's yaays.
Being considerably less ill than I was last year, five years ago, or god knows 10 years ago.
Not being 15 any more. Or 17. Or 19. Yaay!
I'm doing a degree. And I will be later. And I get to use the library and everything!
And I has so man Things that I can't think of a christmas list cause, you know, I bought it.
Pretty damn nifty all round, really.
Also, computers are cool. And all the people in the computer. Or, you know, through, with the typing but actually having bodies out there somewhere, as far as I know. People yaay!
And also also, I had a nap. I seem to have got enough sleep my warm fuzzies woke up and beat my sulking. Win!
Plus I had a dream that involved kissing the 10th Doctor. But very very briefly, for in the dream I woke up with an achy head hidden behind a wheelie bin under some cardboard just after lip contact. My dreams have a very definite idea about how my life in general goes.
