Nov. 23rd, 2007 08:39 amSo I had a dream where Angel was (a) President and (b) my boyfriend.
... I leave you to figure which part of that seems least plausible...
so, anyway, he was visiting me at college, where Buffy also works, but she didn't know we were dating, so we got a moment of :-p when she found out. which, since it's a dream, I can be smug about without being a bad person ;-)
And then the people wearing black rubber and carrying machine guns turned up, and it all got rather less fun.
After that it was mostly about trying to get the school evacuated. People were dawdling on the stairs and figuring if they ignored the alarm it would go away and then when they got to the front doors just sort of stopping. *facepalm* The line was backed up all the way up the stairs and I had to jump down and slide the bannisters and bounce around between levels until I got down to the ground on the outside of the stairs. Which actually I do quite a lot in dreams. Never in reality, because of the whole gravity thing working different there.
At the foot of the stairs were two REALLY fat guys on bicycles sitting there staring at everything and giggling. I had to yell loudly enough to get them moving. I think they needed the bikes cause they were too fat to walk. Grrr. Arrgh.
So then once I got people moving and students were pouring outside and the top floor was pretty much empty except for the gunmen and probably Angel cause he's like that... everyone turned around to look.
*facepalm*
Remind me to never be any of those people, kay?
So I was stood outside yelling at people to keep moving and go around the corner and if you can see them they can shoot you and some people were indeed moving but others were all standing around being awkward about not being allowed to leave school without signing out. So I got paper and pen and shoved it at them and said here, sign, right, LEAVE!
... only then a queue formed to sign out. Right in front of the school. It would have been like shooting targets at the fair. *headdesk*
So I was trying to move the line back, and the line as lines do was trying to move forwards, and it was a whole Thing.
And then, with the logic of dreams, the presence of the Queue of Doom summoned up Tom Baker doing signing.
Which is much funnier now I'm awake and know the guns aren't real.
But aside from all that I had a good night's sleep. I woke up cause I had finished sleeping, rather than the whole ongoing battle with the alarm clock. Call that a win.

Date: 2007-11-23 03:01 pm (UTC)Angel can't be President. He's Irish. You have to be born in the US to run for president. Boyfriend? No problem.
Which is why *crosses fingers* there will never be a Presidenator Ahhhnold. Thank all the deities...
You do have the most interesting dreams of anyone I know.
