I met people! That were 3D and, you know, biological and stuff. And not computers at all.
... well, there was the Darth Vader suit but that doesn't really count.
And I talked to people! Briefly! And... not many of them...
But I am pretty sure I more than doubled the number of not-convention not-college people I've talked to this year. Those being the only times I talk.
I heard a guy explain how he made the really good Darth Vader helmet, and I talked to a couple other people about other club events, and then the small people went to go play with lightsabers and some people wandered over to peer through the door and see if it looked like more fun, and I talked to them.
And then I went home. Like, half an hour earlier than the website said the event runs. But I had run out of ideas for how to talk to people.
I think next time I'll take my scrolling LED badge and have it say 'Hello! Talk to me :-)' and see if that works.
... er, yes, these are my social skills after much practice.

Next event is on Friday 14th December, their Christmas party. It's the last day of term so it'll be just like today with college happening. But I think I may go to that one too. I can only look like an idiot, and I've got the hang of that long since ;-)
