*bouncy win*
Dec. 12th, 2007 04:05 pmLast day of college this term!
Lesson was a bit odd - we wandered around teh student art exhibition to apply our newly acquired knowledge of postmodernism. Which worked, but it's in a highly travelled, large, echoey space, and I had to give up and go back a bit early. But no worries, I participated properly first.
So lesson got done, much good learning.
I have until 08/01/08 to finish the essay :-)
... erm, I have until then to start the essay too. The research and brainstorming phases went swimmingly, the rest is waiting until it doesn't take me the whole week just to sleep enough. I actually forgot to do some of the reading for today, I were that tired.
I sorted out the finance hiccup... well, okay, I found out that the eversoslow wheels of admin are turning without further assistance needed from me. It'll need more sorting out in the new year, but for right now it's just waiting for bits of paper to go places.
I got the right books from the library... I just realised why my backpack was so heavy today, oops...
I walked up to the mall and got *sparkly earrings!* for the end of term treat, at 20% off because I remembered the student card, and also got two Tanya Huff books (cause it's quicker than Amazon's three week wait) and a Freedom Cookie (er, it's a regular cookie that costs 89p and I decided was worth it because I went on my own feet by my own self to go and get it therefore it symbolises Freedom. Which, clearly, costs the other 88p.)
Then I caught a bus.
It was not the usual bus. The line for the usual bus stretched as far as eye could see, and apparently it was late againagain rather than just late. So I caught the one that takes an hour to get home but has the very great advantage of actually existing. I discovered this bus goes very useful places, like the University and the Hospital and the Tesco on the edge of town. They happen in pairs so I could go there and back again to any of these places. On a bus. Without going into the middle of Norwich and out again. And it's a whole bunch cheaper.
And, yes, takes an hour. But *shrugs*, like I have any place to be?
And I did *not* get travel sick! Win! So I get to push back my boundaries of what works in a doing-more direction once again. *happy dance, happy dance, happy dance*
On the way back from teh bus stop I went the long way in an attempt to find a route where I don't see the wrong end of cars. I dislike the crossings around here. It did not so much work for that purpose, but I did go and get some stuff from the supermarket which works plenty good.
And now I am home.
*re-reads* ... so that was about a day and a half then. Heh.
Happy!
I don't have to get up at 0645 until around the 20th of Feb!
Win!
... seriously achy win. oooh, my joints don't like me today. Nope.
