Tanya Huff 'Smoke' series = my new favourite thing.
Have read 'Smoke and Mirrors'
... yes, it is now 0547. No, I hadn't noticed that until the last page. Yes, it's that good.
It's *funny*. And creepy and scary and twisted. And full of interesting people. And with a central character who is growing without hopping into a new category. And with relationships that leave me cheering on all the people he could possibly be dating all at once.
... er, yes, I might possibly have visuals on the 'all at once' idea.
But there's lots of different kissing and it's all good.
And by the end of the book the reason I really, really want to read the next book now is to find out if there's more kissing, or more than kissing, or if they work things out at all better like they should.
... and almost certainly will far enough along in the series, but the point is I want to see.
Is very good.
Good thing: I do have teh next book right here in my house waiting to be read.
Not so good thing: It's almost six in the morning, and humans need sleep.
The really not good thing: Once I've read it, there isn't another book yet.
