Chinese food + bowling = 2 hours.
I tried new food! We got a vegetarian starter plate with a bunch of different things on it. I liked the crunchy seaweed... I think that's what it was. It tasted quite different than other things I eat, and also trying to catch it with chopsticks was amusing. I used my fingers for the other stuff though. Can't take me anywhere. So there were vegetables on a stick, which I might have liked if I scraped all the sauce off and used up all the water. My mouth didn't like that sauce. I think I liked the sweet and sour sauce though. I'm not sure, but I kept on trying it again to find out. Also there were vegetarian spring rolls, which were sort of nothingy, and vegeable parcels, which I liked. It was supposed to have a main course after it but I was full already. But since I have in the past been known to go to a three course banquet and eat one scoop of mashed potato I think I was doing quite well.
Bowling is fun. I think it will get more fun if I try it more often. I might learn how to not hurt my arm.
Things go smash! Wham! And you get points for it!
... my employee got more points. and was very apologetic about it. :eyeroll: *grin*
Then I got some stuff from Morrisons on the way back.
The food cost about £8 and the bowling £4. And the helper person cost £6.56 per hour too, but that is paid out of a different box. I can see how people run out of money doing this stuff. If I'd had a full meal it would have cost even more than that.
But: Now I know I can eat some things off a chinese restaurant menu. That massively multiplies the places I can go and eat. Win!
