TW 2-01 Music
Jan. 22nd, 2008 03:54 pmPoking around for more data cause I couldn't figure out a line and the music isn't on this set of subtitles -
Someone on Torch_Wood had three songs named:
"Song 2" - Blur
"Mao Tse Tung Said" - A3
"Release Yo' Delf" - Method Man
And I was rather liking how the lyrics fit.
Starts with "Release Yo' Delf" - Method Man for the fish in the car, which I was amused to discover mentions Poseidon, the sea god. I mean, how much rap does that?
In the bar when John walks in I knew I wasn't getting the words, which is not surprising cause it's Mao Tse Tun Said. I got "Change must come", from the chorus. Looking it up I found the last bit of the chorus: "Change must come thru the barrel of a gun"
Did I mention I'm armed?
That's some interesting words there. I have no idea if it's correctly identified cause I don't know it at all. Plus accurate transcription is never a given on these pages, you get a half a dozen different versions if you shop around. Also, lyrics pages are the worst for being jammed with popups and garbage that tries to freeze my computer.
ANYways, last but not least, when the fight starts in the bar, Blur, Song 2. "Well, I lie and I'm easy
All the time and I'm never sure
Why I need you"
So, you know, music definitely works.
