Sense and sensitivity

beccaelizabethSo I'm reading this fic, where Ianto and Owen and Jack get all mystically bonded with Sentinel senses. And I was wondering what it would be like if Gwen and Tosh didn't get left out. They could have one sense each then. So which sense should they get? First I thought Gwen=hearing and Jack=touch, but obvious much? So then I was thinking, which ones are they missing? And then it was just a question of who most needed Taste...
So, what do you think? Touch, taste, smell, sight, hearing: which needs which super sense, or seems to have it already?
I was thinking Owen should get smell, because there was this Sentinel episode where he was really attracted to someone and it turned out to be pure chemistry, pheremones, and at the end there was a little old lady walked past and he was all *wow* about her smell... as a joke, probably. But it wouldn't have to be a joke - good chemistry and good looks might have nothing to do with each other. So Owen would be walking around being controlled by other people's smell. Karmic.
... except that kind of happened already with Carys, so again I fail the originality test.
I think Tosh should get touch. And have fun with it. I think she's the most seperate. Or Ianto, of course, but he has his Jack.
Ianto already has good taste and great observational skills. And outside of 1-04 no shortage of listening to what he's told. But in 1-04 he's real good at the selective deafness, so hearing it is.
Gwen being the one that sees would reinforce the whole human thing a bit much. But if she had Taste what would she do with it? I mean I can see Jack insisting he has to learn his whole team that way... in fact I can really very much see it... hmmm.
But Jack has to be the one who couldn't see what was going on around him. Suzie, Ianto, Owen, they all went meltdown without him noticing in advance. So he gets the sight.
Gwen with taste... still a puzzler... though Rhys cooking for her would be extra appreciated.
