beccaelizabethI didn't stay up until 0200 specifically so I could finish the next Torchwood mission.
I just happen to have done so.
Silly computer was acting up cranky, had to shut down and restart a couple times. Annoying.
Torchwood site not annoying. Much incidental funny. And interesting emails. Like Ianto saying to Gwen he doesn't know who or what Grey or Gray is. And Jack tells him anecdotes, funny stuff, not stuff that hits him hard. Now I want to smush them together until they talk properly. Or, you know, have sex.
I have a plot bunny based on a line in 2-02. Given that Gwen seems to have heard quite a lot about Jack from someone, and Ianto was happy to talk about it, I now have bunny of Ianto complaining at length about Jack. Probably on a girl's night out, with little frilly drinks with weird names. Gwen was going to go with Tosh but something came up and Owen said she should take Ianto and Ianto did an eyes thing and said actually that would be fun and then Gwen was stuck with it. And Ianto was all 'men are bastards' and as they get drunker Gwen ends up announcing Rhys popped the question.
Gwen would listen as Ianto gets drunker and more detailed. And she'd be blushing and pretending very hard she wasn't listening as hard as she was.
If I could write funny I could write that.
It would also be Ianto talking to Gwen in a not group setting. The emails set up a sort of relationship but outside of that there's tons of conversations we just haven't had yet.
