Today started at 0645
and now it is practically 1645
and I was doing things in all those hours in between

dear god I'm tired

yet happy, for I did the whole list, including the fun stuff.

Class was annoying. Peeping Tom is both icky and boring. I know the theory stuff pretty good and the things I said out loud got a lot of nodding from Teach, so that part works.
Then there was off course support in the afternoon. I don't know what it's supposed to be for. Usually we plan essays or something. Today I spent the whole hour complaining about the chosen texts for class. Oh, and also dentists. And the general state of exhaustion. And some about the litany of family stuff. And how I don't think people should buy other people cats on account of then there's a present that has vet bills and needs looking after and that's not a very relaxing present.
... on the plus side I complained articulately and using relevant cultural theory where applicable. So, you know, kind of helpful.

Then I needed to get home. I decided to do it in easy stages. College to book shop, first stage. Only then Borders *still* doesn't have Trace Memory, and I'd had enough, and decided I dared Cross The Road At The Zebra and I could go to the shop full of Doctor Who stuff, where I got not only a book but a short conversation about the three books. Win. So then I was right about the market and only another Cross The Road With No Zebra Even away from my new corset. But I am brave and mighty, so I went to the Black Lace shop and tried on my new corset and went hmmm and got the laces readjusted and decided I looked awesome and bought it. And some temporary tattoos. So I spent, um, about £90? On things I'm likely to wear for two weekends this year... But my last corset is still going strong, albeit the wrong size for me, so it's a long term investment. So, anyways, after that I only had to get home. Which involved actually a lot more crossing the road, because I went another way, but it was all with pressing the buttons and waiting.

I hate it when cars are Stupid and park on the crossing. That's no good at all.

So then I got a bus ticket at the machine, which has made my marginally verbal life immensely easier I tell you, and then I caught the bus, and then the bus had to stop in a hurry cause some idiot on a bike was stopped in the middle of the road waiting to turn a corner, and I realise they're allowed to turn a corner but the problem part was stopped in the middle of the road. They could have pretended to be pedestrians and gone across at the lights but the usual lights that would let them do that weren't there any more. That doesn't work real good. But the rest of the bus home worked well.

Usually that would be the end of the story, bar possible issues on the two roads between the bus stop and here. But I had Yet More Things To Do.

So then I went to Blaines, where I got the recorder from. Tonight I record Torchwood on it for the last time. Tomorrow I must remember to move everything off the hard drive, and then in the evening it goes back to the shop. And possibly the manufacturer. They can't figure what's wrong with it, but I say it cuts the sound out at some point between about 4 and 8 minutes in on every single damn episode and I'm not having it. Even if they took it back once already and couldn't find it. Is no good to me. So, anyways, is also the last night I can record anything off the TV, but the only other thing I've been recording is The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and I'm pretty sure there's, er, a flight to America that can acquire those for me.

And then I went to the supermarket. Where I found both quorn sausage rolls and alpro chocolate desert. I stuck my tongue out at the squishy chocolate that makes me unwell, for now I have chocolate both squishy and digestible.
... er, yes, I'm being literal about the tongue bit. I is odd when I is tired.

.. *rereads* ...

woah. I did a lot.

And there's new Torchwood later!
... I think I'll leave the recorder on subtitles and go sleep.
