Silurians go boom!

I like how much room there is for everyone swapping sides in a multi part story this long. Shifting allegiances and time for absolutely everyone to screw up. Almost like moral complexity! In a U rated kids show with rubber monsters. Got to love that.
... it is also diverting to realise quite how many people look good in tight t-shirts. Unexpected.
So... did the Brigadier do genocide? I mean, as far as he knew, did he wipe out a whole non-human intelligent species? Cause that would be a rather big Thing.
I was thinking he was just sealing the caves. I mean, the Doctor said to make sure nobody got in.
Is interesting how much different episodes make different argument. I mean, you can think the Doctor is over reacting in complaining about the military approach, and then you see one you missed and *boom*.
I liked it when the Doctor did Science! With squeezy things and microscopes and everything. And then Liz figured it out from his notes.
I could watch the next story. Or, I could go sleep. It's three in the morning.
