went out, shopped, returned

beccaelizabethSo today was the day of going places this week. Went to Norwich. Castle Mall has very limited appeal, even compared to the other mall now. Lots of empty shops too. I looked around a bit but didn't buy anything. Then went for a wander. Nice shop full of beads. No buttons though. And then went and walked to Bravissimo. By way of a nice shop full of shiny things. I bought a bracelet that is blue from one direction but pink from the other. It's cooler than it sounds. At Bravissimo I discovered their changing rooms have more corners in than you'd think fit in the ordinary set of dimensions. Now I'm having thoughts about Tardis technology as applied to bras. Bigger on the inside - now that would be handy. So, I tried stuff on. I'm still rather surprised at there being a whole plural number of things to try. I only bought one bra, but they had half a dozen in the right size in different styles and colors, and that was just the first random set they brought out. So that's pretty cool. I tried the sleepwear thing and I'm not convinced. I may buy it but they didn't have it in stock in white, only very pink. I'm not a very pink person. They didn't have any right size swimwear at all. But since that size is 32J, not surprising.
Then more wandering, in search of Torchwood magazine. Knew it was in Borders, but helpful suggestions of other places it might be led to wandering around in a bunch of different places. But no, it was where I thought, and only there. Actually they still had last month's out and they were easier to spot and it was very confusing. But I found eventually. Also I asked after a book I thought was just out. They didn't have it in their computer though. I go back later.
Then to the whole foods shop. I have two kinds of fake cheese. And no bread. But since fake cheese can last many months I have time to fix that. I also have more chocolate desserts, which is yaays.
And now home.

4th, 6th, and now 7th. Win. And 5 is for the Bad Wolf convention.
Now I'm hungry and sleepy and blah. I don't think I like going out much. I like meeting people and talking about Doctor Who. Shopping isn't much like that. I like dancing too. I should look into that. People do that quite regularly.
