Double Indemnity

beccaelizabethThis film is actually quite good. Which is excellent. In school classes were rarely if ever about studying stuff that was actually quite good. You have to count Shakespeare, which I do, but not so much when read out badly by a class of high school students.
Cultural Studies on the other hand has had a bunch of neat stuff. Including the first ten minutes or so of Double Indemnity, twice. And I really wanted to see how it ends, even though how it begins is how it ends, so I guess I wanted to see how it got to how it ends ie the whole film. Which I just have.
It was actually good.
I can actually see why we study it.
Cool!
College is fun.
On the less fun side, I now have about two and a half hours before I have to get up to go to college... this was not so much the good plan. I mean I have slept tonight, it was just the tea time part of tonight, instead of the actual night. Oops. But hey, I've managed class before when I'd been awake 24 hours already, so no worries! /slight sarcasm.
