... yes, I know they're saying it got taken apart and sent on the railway, but clearly we know better - has to be a Rift thing, or a Transmat, or possibly the TARDIS was involved... though it would have to make the doors big and the console get out of the way, so probably only another TARDIS with the more worky circuits could do it, but then it could swallow it so...

Or it's actually a TARDIS itself, or some other form of alien spaceship/artefact. I know TARDIS;s were traditionally quite small, but what's to say they have to be?

See, although they've suggested the railway, they do actually say they don't know for certain.

heh, yes, TARDIS lighthouse - but then the light would only go on when it dematerialised, and hence be counterproductive for navigation...

I'm sure that could be worked around fairly easily - two lights, one for the lighthouse part, one for the TARDIS part.
