Jun. 13th, 2008 07:13 amSo, I slept, and then I woke up, and then I had juice and slept again
and dreamed of Captain Jack Harkness and Adult Education; also classroom reassignment that ended up around a swimming pool
and now I'm awake again feeling considerable dozy but not actually likely to get back to sleep.
My bags are packed. And the bag for things I didn't pack yesterday is packed, despite the whole thing where the things I packed yesterday are in fact adequate. And the other bag is packed too. And basically all I have to do is eat something, get dressed, and decide if I shall use a taxi or a bus today.
Oh, also, it might help to get some google maps of the hotel area. See if there's food nearby. and how to get there.
... google reckons to get there from here in a car would take about two and a half hours.
on the trains? five hours if it all works.
seems kinda dumb.
I phoned to check if there's problems with the train. No cancellations, delays of up to half an hour. survivable, yes?
I printed a bunch of maps.
Now I just have to hang up and call a taxi.
